“Y:Cube is such a good idea and project”, says 22 year old Shantae Whyte. On Monday April 28th she will gather her belongings and move from her room in YMCA Wimbledon to the red and black Y:Cube prototype currently placed outside the hostel.

On Thursday 13th February YMCA London South West unveiled our plans for a new housing solution called Y:Cube that provides self-contained and affordable starter accommodation for young people unable to either gain a first step on the housing ladder or pay the high costs of private rent.
