Classes and Courses


All our dance and fitness classes are open to all ages, however some are designed specifically for the 50 plus. Try Gentle Exercise, Fit 4 Life or Classic Fitness. These sessions are designed to stretch you, provide a thorough work-out, but at a pace you're comfortable with.

If you like to dance, you are spoilt for choice with Ballroom, Tap, Jazz, Latin Rhythms, West End Jazz and Line Dancing. Dance is a fun and social way to improve fitness, with many class members staying on afterwards for a coffee and a chat.

Away from the dance floor, Yoga and Pilates are particularly good for seniors as they can easily be adapted for all levels of fitness and are good for flexibility, balance and core strength.

Classes are included free with Y+ Fitness membership and Senior Pay As You Go users pay a reduced rate.
