During lunchtime on a Monday and Tuesday, the Basement in Kingston is home to Common Room, a lunch time café with free wifi, table football and plenty of space to chill out during your lunch break.
Open from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, Common Room serves wraps or sandwiches for just £2.00, with a meal deal which includes a drink and crisps or chocolate bar for £2.50. The Basement is on Queen Elizabeth’s Road, opposite Tiffin Boys and Kingston Grammar School.
Afterschool on a Thursday, Open Room, a detached youth-project, runs in Wimbledon town centre. The team locate themselves outside Centre court shopping centre and make themselves available to any young people who need someone to talk to.
