School holidays can be a real challenge. How do you find a childcare solution that is affordable, that fits in with your working week and is above all, fun for your child?
YMCA London South West calls their Children Work 'Space' and we run several camps across the Boroughs of Merton, Kingston upon Thames and at Hampton Pool. At Space children can try all sorts of new activities, challenges and sports. We are outside as much as possible making the most of the good weather, the extensive facilities of the YMCA and the partner schools we operate in.
These include sports halls, football pitches, tennis and basketball courts and a swimming pool. Activities are child led; we ask them what they want to do and try to make every day different and memorable.
As well as YMCA based activities, there are weekly trips out. Previous outing have included:

- Thorpe Park
- The Science Museum
- Spectrum Ice Rink
- Syon Park
- Bowling
- Mountain Biking
- Indoor Climbing

We try to mix things up as much as possible, introducing new challenges and stimulating activities that will appeal to all personalities.
