Shift Pattern: 8 hours per day (Early Mornings, Evenings and Weekend)
Salary: £25,242 Per annum

YMCA London South West and YMCA East London have merged. This new organisation which is called YMCA London South West has resulted in a growing presence across South, South West and East London.  The Association is part of the affiliated YMCA Christian Movement, offering opportunities to young people and their communities to develop in mind, body and spirit in order to fulfil their potential.


During these exciting times for the association, we are seeking YMCA Inclusive Lives Project Co-ordinator (YILP) funded by grant from Big Lottery Fund at our corporate Office. This project targets people with disabilities with a focus to create opportunities to access programmes, which will lead to increasing participation into different physical activities, sports, dance and arts programmes.


The post holder will develop strategies to increase participation of target groups, working in close partnership with referral agencies, local businesses and other related agencies for programme design, recruitment of participants and to raise the profile of the project. You will ensure that the project conforms to its aims and objectives with current and appropriate legislation and guidelines, including health and safety and to regularly liaise with the Big Lottery Fund giving feedback and evaluation of the ongoing project.  It is essential to have experience of leading or coaching sport, fitness, physical or healthy living activities and have an understanding of the barriers this target group face and how to overcome these for engagement into the YILP programmes.   This role will involve working a minimum of 40 hours per week which will include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
