Children's Parties (Wimbledon)




Parties at YMCA Wimbledon are held in the main Sports Hall, so there’s lots of room for games, running around and a full sized bouncy castle.   The hall may be booked for two hours on Saturday (normally between 10 am and 4pm) and Sunday afternoons (between 3.30 pm and 5pm). Suitable for under 5’s, the venue can accommodate up to 30 of the most energetic and lively party guests.  YMCA Wimbledon is ideal if you want to organise and run the party yourself, but don’t want to have to tidy up afterwards!

A Space Playworker will make sure the room is set out with toys and soft play equipment (similar to the Ducks sessions) along with the bouncy castle. You are welcome to come in a short while before the party starts to decorate the room with your own balloons, banners, streamers, etc.

Party food, drinks and cake (provided by you) is served and eaten in the cosier surroundings of the Playpod. There are basic kitchen facilities including a fridge, kettle and a microwave available.

Hire of the Sports Hall and Playpod  for two hours costs £120 for up to 30 children and includes bouncy castle, play equipment, setting up and clearing away.

Alternatively, the Playpod or the Hall may also be hired separately (without Play Worker or Bouncy Castle) for £40 per hour. The PlayPod is particularly suitable for baby and toddler celebrations.

We are very flexible; if there is something you think your child would particularly enjoy on his or her special day, please ask us and we will do our best to source it for you. We have many local contacts for children's entertainers, face painters, caterers, etc.
