Based at: YMCA Wimbledon
Hours of work: 20 hours per week
Worked on rota basis including weekends and evenings.
Hourly salary: £9.85 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Membership Advisor. You will create and handle sales enquiries; conduct tours of the facilities for potential members; close membership sales and follow up with potential members throughout the process; achieve membership sales figures through promotions, and the implementation of marketing plans and sales procedures; ensure that all members have a good experience within the Centre, and address any complaints that may arise.

It is essential to have a good understanding of the Health and Fitness/Leisure Industry; knowledge of high quality customer care; experience of providing services to the public; experience using a range of computer software; the ability to work well within a team; to develop and maintain positive working relationships; and the ability to provide a range of activities meeting the needs of diverse groups. It would be beneficial for applicants to have or be working towards a Level 2 Sales or Fitness Instructor qualification; have knowledge of the YMCA and its services; and some experience working in sales.  This role is subject to safeguarding checks including a DBS check in line with YMCA LSW procedures.
