At YMCA London South West we have activities for all ages.
Popular with seniors, we have many Y+ Fitness members who are well in their 80's (our most senior is 89!). Regular exercise is important as we grow older to help maintain bone strength, mobility and keep our hearts healthy. It's the best anti-aging treatment we know! Y+ run a wide range of classes that are suitable all for all ages and abilities, as well as several that are specifically tailored for the over 50's.
Canteen is a great place to meet up with friends for lunch or coffee and is home to Lunch Club which meets once a month for a traditional, home cooked British meal. We also hold regular social events with seniors in mind like The Tea Pot Club and the Y Social (YMCA Surbiton).
Every month, we organise an accompanied trip out. Past destinations have included Brighton, Highclere Castle (one of the locations for Downton Abbey) and the Milestones Museum.
