Dance, dressing up, make over session, performance and music… the YMCA John Innes in Wimbledon has it all!
Join our free dance workshop every Monday from 1st June, get a makeover alongside your mum on 27th June and join us for a celebration of young people’s achievements at the Room Exposed event on 8th July.
Do you like to dance?
Regardless of your level or ability, everyone is welcome. You will get the chance to learn some basic moves, improve your techniques, and create some new ones with the help of our professional dance instructor, Caitlin Barnett.
Starting on 1st of June and running every Monday from 6.30pm – 7.30pm until 6th July, at this dance workshop you are invited to go wild, use your imagination and get as creative as you want!
Also, you will get the chance to perform your masterpiece in front of an audience at our annual showcase event ‘Room Exposed’ on Wednesday 8th July, 2015.
The fun doesn’t end there though – to help you develop your style and to celebrate your hard work, you will also be invited to see the breath-taking show ‘STOMP!’ in London.

Mum & Daughter’s Makeover Day, Saturday 27th June 10am onwards
On arrival, all guests with will be greeted with a free glass of sparkling orange juice and some snacks before changing into your outfits, do each other’s make-up, have your hair styled by a professional and then smile to that camera.
Once your photos are ready, your get to choose your favourites and then take them home on a CD.

Room Exposed, a showcase event by young people
Also, the winners of the Jack Petchy Volunteer Awards are announced and through speeches and photo exhibitions, the achievements of our volunteers and young people are celebrated.
The event will take place on Wednesday 8th July from 7-9pm at YMCA John Innes, Wimbledon, SW19 1JN.
Entry is free, everyone welcome!
