People volunteer with YMCA London South West for many reasons. Perhaps they are between jobs and want to keep busy while they look for another, perhaps they want to add some valuable work experience to their CV or perhaps they simply have some spare time and want to help others.
Whatever the reason, they are part of a valued team of volunteers who work across most of our departments. Volunteer roles include:

Volunteers receive induction training and are required to undergo an enhanced CRB check. Travel expenses are reimbursed and meals are provided while on duty. After a qualifying period and depending on hours worked, volunteers may also use the gym and Hampton Pool free of charge.
