Shift Pattern: Breakfast Club – 7.30am – 9am, After School Club 2.30pm – 6.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £8.17 – £8.57 per hour (Based on Experience)

During these exciting times for the association, we are seeking a Breakfast and Afterschool Club Play Worker or either one of them at St Mary’s School, Chessington. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Play worker to be part of the Children and Family Work Staff team which provides high quality childcare and play opportunities at YMCA Surbiton. The Afterschool Clubs provide a place for children to come and play, explore, build on friendships and enjoy the outdoors.
We are seeking someone who has experience of working with 4-11 year olds; can provide a safe, fun environment for the children through a range of appropriate activities and play opportunities; have a clear understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and take a role in activity planning and preparation. You will be required to actively contribute to the development and quality of the setting, possess effective verbal and written communication skills, and be able to communicate well with parents or carers. A Play work Qualification is desirable.
